The plunger switch that watches the door triggers the alert and a tone after the door has stood open for more than 5 minutes; in the error log the same event is stored as E0 or E9. Push the door fully closed and check that nothing in the bin, such as the scoop or a bag, is stopping it. ### Why does my U-Line ice maker beep and show dr? The door switch reports the door as open, and after 5 minutes the control sounds a tone and shows dr. Closing the door firmly usually clears it. ### Can a full ice bin keep a U-Line door from closing and cause dr? Yes. Cubes piled at the front of the bin, or the scoop left in the wrong place, can hold the door just off its seal. Clear the edge of the bin and close the door again. ### Are dr, E0 and E9 the same thing on a U-Line?
