On U-Line's 15-inch nugget model, Er03 is an evaporator temperature error shown by the ICE lamp blinking: the evaporator is at 32°F or above 10 minutes into ice making. It is an earlier warning of the same cooling problem behind Er01. U-Line ice maker display What to do when Er03 shows on the ice maker ### Kind of code Ice making and harvest The ice maker froze a batch and could not release it, or the harvest never started: the ejector arm or the twisting tray stalled, the mold heater did not loosen the cubes, or the arm that senses a full bin reported the wrong thing. Ice jammed against the arm and a bin pushed in crooked are cleared first; a motor module or a whole ice maker assembly comes after. ### Usually leads to Ice maker assembly replacement A new ice maker module fitted in the freezer compartment or the door compartment, after the water, the temperature and the bin sensor have been proved good, so the new part is not blamed for an old problem. ### Shows up as Nugget Ice Maker Not Making Nugget Ice A nugget ice maker not making ice runs and hums but drops nothing, makes wet slush instead of crisp pellets, or stops after a few batches with a light on. ### Make U-Line U-Line undercounter ice maker service, including cleaning, descaling and drain repair. ### Source U-Line User Guide & Service Manual, URNP115 nugget ice model (u-line.com PDF) U-Line URNP115 15-inch nugget ice model. ## Before you book, in this order. Make sure the front grille is clear and the unit is not next to a heat source. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### How do I tell Er03 from a full bin on a U-Line nugget ice maker? A full bin makes the ICE lamp stay on for two seconds and go off for one, over and over, and the bin is visibly full. Er03 blinks while the bin is not full and ice is not coming. ### Is Er03 on a U-Line less serious than Er01? It is triggered sooner, at 10 minutes instead of 30, but both mean the evaporator is not getting below freezing. Repeated Er03 deserves the same checks. ### Can a hot room cause Er03 on a U-Line nugget unit? A hot room or blocked airflow makes the evaporator slower to cool, so clear the grille first. If the code repeats in normal conditions, the cooling system needs testing. --- **[Read on the site: U-Line nugget model ICE lamp blinking with Er03](https://icemakerrepair.center/error-codes/u-line-er03/)** **[Book a visit with IceMakerRepair.center](https://icemakerrepair.center/schedule/)**
