On Viking's FNIU515D, ICE, NO WATER and DRAIN lit steady together is Er25, evaporator freezing: the evaporator outlet temperature fell below the set point for 2 minutes during ice making. Viking ties it to low ambient temperature and says to run the unit when the room is over 50°F. Viking ice maker display · also shown as ICE, NO WATER and DRAIN lamps lit What to do when Er25 shows on the ice maker ### Kind of code Ice making and harvest The ice maker froze a batch and could not release it, or the harvest never started: the ejector arm or the twisting tray stalled, the mold heater did not loosen the cubes, or the arm that senses a full bin reported the wrong thing. Ice jammed against the arm and a bin pushed in crooked are cleared first; a motor module or a whole ice maker assembly comes after. ### Usually leads to Ice maker assembly replacement A new ice maker module fitted in the freezer compartment or the door compartment, after the water, the temperature and the bin sensor have been proved good, so the new part is not blamed for an old problem. ### Shows up as Nugget Ice Maker Not Making Nugget Ice A nugget ice maker not making ice runs and hums but drops nothing, makes wet slush instead of crisp pellets, or stops after a few batches with a light on. ### Make Viking Viking ice maker repair, whether it sits under the counter or inside a built-in unit. ### Source Viking FNIU515D 15-inch panel-ready nugget ice model owner's guide (Viking's Middleby CDN PDF) Viking FNIU515D panel-ready nugget model with drain pump; the three lamps are ICE, NO WATER and DRAIN on the display panel. ## Before you book, in this order. Check where the unit is installed; an unheated garage, basement or porch can be too cold. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why are all the lamps on steady on my Viking nugget ice maker? That is Er25. The evaporator has run colder than it should, which Viking links to a cold room around the unit. ### What is the lowest room temperature for a Viking nugget ice maker? The troubleshooting table says to operate it when the ambient temperature is over 50°F. ### Can Er25 happen in a heated kitchen on a Viking? It should not. If the room is warm and the lamps still come on steady, a sensor or control problem is more likely and needs a technician. --- **[Read on the site: Viking nugget model: all three lamps lit steady (Er25)](https://icemakerrepair.center/error-codes/viking-er25/)** **[Book a visit with IceMakerRepair.center](https://icemakerrepair.center/schedule/)**
