On Liebherr's CS 1640, the IceMaker draws its water from a removable tank instead of a house line. When the lamp above the IceMaker's On/Off button blinks, the troubleshooting table's two answers are that the tank needs more water or is not inserted correctly.

The tank may not be all the way in; the manual stresses sliding it right to the back. If it is seated and the lamp still blinks, the ice maker needs a technician.
Does a Liebherr IceMaker with a tank need a water line?
No. On the CS 1640 the IceMaker takes its water from the tank, so there is no line, valve or filter to check for this signal.
