sb on the display means the SKS unit is in Sabbath mode. SKS switches off the lights and alarms in this mode and, on the column freezers, disables the ice maker as well; on door-dispenser and 48-inch models the dispenser is disabled too.

Does SKS Sabbath mode come back on after a power cut?
Yes. SKS says the column freezer keeps Sabbath mode through a power outage, so sb can still be on the display after the power returns.
Can I get ice from the door while an SKS shows sb?
Not on models where SKS disables the dispenser in Sabbath mode, such as the 48-inch French door series and the counter-depth model. Ice already in the bin stays there until the mode ends.
