What E11
actually means.
On U-Line's outdoor clear ice model, E11 (displayed as 11) means the water level in the tray or reservoir is high. Water that does not drain or stop filling can overflow into the bin or out of the unit.

What to do when E11 shows on the ice makerKind of codeWater supply and fill
The ice maker asked for water and got too little, too slowly or none at all, or water kept arriving after the fill should have ended. A closed shutoff, a kinked line, a clogged filter and low house pressure are ruled out before the water inlet valve is replaced or the fill tube is thawed. If water is on the floor, close the supply valve before reading anything on the display.

The electric valve that lets water into the ice maker, tested and replaced when it will not open, opens only partway, or keeps dripping after it should have closed.
Shows up asUndercounter Ice Maker Overflowing
An undercounter ice maker overflowing pushes water out from under its door or kickplate, floods the bin with slush, or leaves the cabinet beside it wet.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from U-Line's own guidance for E11 on its ice makers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Check the bin and the floor in front of the unit for standing water.
If water is escaping, close the water shutoff valve to the unit.
Check that the drain hose runs as straight as possible without kinks, then book a visit if 11 returns.
